Add products

Adding products from the beginning will make it easier for you to choose a layout and set other settings in the next steps.

If you don’t have your own products, you can download product samples from here.

You can add products:


How to add them manually?

In your admin panel go to Products > + Product.

Required fields:

  • name,
  • price,
  • and a  product code or catalogue number (SKU).

All other fields are optional.

If you are selling e-products and you do not need a physical address for delivery, then click Digital product.

Value-added tax rate (VAT)

Choose the VAT rate which applies to that specific product from the drop-down list.

You can choose only from VAT values specified in Settings > Regional > Value-added Tax

Inventory

While adding a product you may choose whether Shoplo should track inventory level. If you choose to track it, it will prevent you from selling a product which you don’t have on stock. It will automatically block purchase possibility.

Product description and images

Here you need to add your product description. Make sure to put in this field all the important information about your product. Also, don’t forget to add good quality images. People need visual motivation to buy your product.

At the end – Click on Add product


How to import products?

Go to Products > Import 

Match columns from the file with columns from Shoplo. Remember to click all columns which you need to be imported

Click on Import.

The import may take several minutes depending on how many product you are trying to import.

If you can not see all product pictures right after import, it means they are still uploading in the background. Just wait for a few more minutes for them to appear.
